törggelen
Sauerkraut, barley soup, „Schlutzkrapfen“, home-made sausages and salted meat „Surfleisch“ with sauerkraut, as well as sweet traditional doughnuts, roasted chestnuts and fruit from the farmer are all part of a typical Törggelemenü, along with home-made wine and home-made juice. Törggelen reaches its climax at the annual Gassltörggelen in Klausen, when local specialities and a musical entertainment programme are offered in the alleys and rustic cellars.
